Accreditations and Achievements

The Sheridan VAMC received full accreditation from the Joint Commission in July of 2007. The facility has also been inspected by the Inspector General of the VA to ensure the highest quality of care is provided at the medical center and each CBOC. The laboratory and CBOCs also have full accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA). Patient SatisfactionSince patient satisfaction is important to us, the Survey of Health Experiences of Patients survey or SHEP tracks how the Sheridan VAMC is doing. We consistently rank 80% or better. If you receive a survey please fill it out so we know how we are doing. |
